MOTHER. WIFE. DOCTOR.
HEALTH EQUITY RESEARCHER.

GIVING A BOLDER MEANING TO LIVING WITH PURPOSE AND PASSION

At just seven years old, Jasmine dreamed of becoming a doctor. When she found herself unexpectedly pregnant during college, she feared her dream could not come true.
Thanks to her first invaluable mentors, who were not afraid to share their wisdom as Black women and mothers in medicine, Jasmine felt encouraged and capable of walking the arduous path of being a mom while in medical school.

Her journey to practicing medicine was one of the hardest yet most rewarding experiences (with parenthood easily ranking first).

Today, Jasmine finds joy in being candid about her journey,
struggles, and lessons over the years to encourage others who may not think their goals are possible. She also proudly advocates for her patients and community through evidence-based advocacy, remaining committed to challenging the status quo and speaking against inequities.
